At the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village (ASYV), we believe, ‘It takes a Village to transform a child,’ and when you visit ASYV, you become part of that transformation. Every visitor will benefit our community of 500 orphaned and vulnerable Rwandan youth, while, in turn, finding inspiration from our kids’ curiosity, resilience, and commitment to repairing the world.
We have another saying: ‘If you see far, you will go far.’ And everyone who visits our campus, located just an hour-and-a-half drive from Kigali, off the road to Akagera National Park, will also be inspired by breathtaking views of the valley and Lake Mugesera.
We offer three types of stays, listed below. We look forward to welcoming you!
Individual guests & Short stay groups
Individuals traveling to Rwanda can visit us for the day or stay overnight.
We offer high school, college, and adult groups the chance to get to know Rwanda and the Village in a meaningful way.
ASYV can provide a quiet, picturesque setting for your organization’s retreat or workshop.
